Preservice Geography Teachers’ Exposure to Problem Solving and Different Teaching Styles

Problem-solving skills are often considered to be the key in today’s world, and their importance geography education is widely recognized. However, empirical evidence analyzing whether how teachers develop problem-solving during lessons especially scarce context of preservice teachers. Accordingly, we conducted a questionnaire survey with 256 respondents. The analyzed teachers’ experience different teaching styles pre-college (upper secondary) education. results show that prevailingly perceive they were not exposed even passively, let alone actively developing them. insufficient development line prevalence teacher-centered styles. article concludes discussion possible causes recommendations for improvement.
